Initial consultation begins with a comprehensive fitness assessment where we will review your general health and medical history and discuss basic nutritional guidelines. In order to build a strong foundation for your customized exercise and health plan, we must first understand your goals, your level of fitness, and your challenges. We will also do a dynamic posture observation which provides crucial information on how your joints and muscles interact. This lets us know if there are any muscular imbalances that we need to focus on.
If you choose to, we can take circumference measurements and also take your ‘before” picture. This is a good way to track your progress.
By incorporating functional and integrated training elements into your tailor-made fitness program, you will be able to perform day-to-day activities or sports movements safer and easier by taking into account how your body moves naturally. We do this by targeting more than one body part, in various planes of motion, while using as many muscle fibers as possible. These types of movements help you to burn more calories, improve strength, balance and speed, and help to prevent injuries.
